Near the end of my shift on the Customer Service Deck, a very angry lady came storming over to me from the cash registers waving her receipt. I was expecting another customer who had be charged for the wrong type of potato, but I was wrong. She offered her receipt to me and loudly declared that the amount she paid was too little.
I didn’t know how to react other than to apologise and thank her for her honesty. After going through every item in her bags and comparing them to those on the receipt, her total cost had doubled. And she happily paid it!
I called my supervisor over to explain the situation to see what we could do for her. In the end all we couldn’t do much more than thank her a lot and give her a voucher for her honesty. She was definitely my customer of the week!

It’s like a bad dream, in my entire life I’ve never lost anyone close to me. I’m gonna miss waking up to that pups paws on the hardwood floor every morning.

My wonderful dog,
I’m going to miss hearing your paws on the wood, your cold nose sniffing my legs every time I walk through the door, your majestic show dog prance you always do, the way you guard your toys with your life, the way you get so ridiculously excited every day at lunchtime, the way you freakishly writh on the carpet when your stretching and weird all my friends.
You are the only person who always understood how I felt, and could always comfort me.
And your not even human.
I’m sorry for all the wrongs I’ve ever done to you. I wish I could take back every time I yelled at you, didn’t play with you, or ignored you. I wish I could take them all back.
I’ve never lost someone close to me
before. Maddie thank you for watching over me for the past 14 years of my life. And please watch over me for the rest of my days till I meet you in heaven. I
